Loving Hearts Learning Place
Where Hearts Feel at Home and Young Minds Grow
At Loving Hearts Learning Place (LHLP), we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, discovery, and meaningful learning experiences. Our faith-centered early childhood education program creates a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore the world around them.
Our Learning Philosophy
Children learn best through active exploration and meaningful play. At LHLP, we view play as an essential part of learning and development. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed environments where children are encouraged to ask questions, experiment, and discover new ideas.
We strive to nurture children who are confident, independent, and eager to learn. Through hands-on experiences and developmentally appropriate activities, children build problem-solving skills, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our educators guide and support each child as they grow at their own pace, helping them develop positive habits, strong character, and a healthy sense of self.
A Faith-Centered Early Learning Community
LHLP serves families in Franklin Township and the surrounding communities by providing a loving, supportive, and Christ-centered environment for young learners.
Here, children experience the joy of learning together, build meaningful friendships, and grow in both heart and mind.
OUR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAM is available for infants six weeks of age through children age 5 and is open from 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Our Programs
At LHLP, each classroom is thoughtfully designed to support the unique developmental needs of children at every stage.
Our early learning programs encourage exploration, creativity, and confidence as children grow and learn together. Each program intentionally builds upon the one before it—from infancy through our preschool and Pre-K classrooms—supporting children’s development and preparing them for the next stage of learning.
Through nurturing relationships, hands-on exploration, and developmentally appropriate experiences, children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually during their time at Loving Hearts Learning Place.
Our hope is that children who graduate from our program leave feeling confident, capable, and excited to begin their kindergarten journey.
Our infant classroom provides a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, loved, and cared for. Teachers focus on building strong relationships with each child while supporting early development through sensory exploration, movement, and responsive care. The infant/adult ratio is 4:1, allowing time for individual attention for each baby.
Toddlers are naturally curious learners. Our toddler program encourages exploration, language development, and independence through play-based learning and engaging activities designed for this exciting stage of development. Toddler/adult ratio is 4:1.
Children in this stage begin developing social skills, problem-solving abilities, and early learning concepts. Our classrooms provide opportunities for creative play, early literacy, hands-on learning, and building friendships. Afternoon rest times are scheduled for all children. Lunch and snack times provide further opportunities for social growth and sharing of ideas.
Our preschool program continues to prepare children for kindergarten by encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Children participate in structured learning activities, creative play, and opportunities to develop early academic and social skills.
