Father God, there are particular situations I’m facing right now that feel so discouraging. Because of this, I’m often tempted to let worst-case scenarios write and rewrite the truth I believe. Today, remind me You are in control. Remind me You can be trusted with it all. Remind me that I don’t have to run ahead and prepare for every outcome or scenario because You hold it all together. Infuse my heart with hope, and help me infuse hope into others too. In Jesus’ name, amen.
