Southminster family,

I know that some of you are anxious and ready to get back into church.  I know others are cautious and even afraid to come back to church.  You need to feel confident with your decision that you will be safe and please, please know that deciding to stay home is an appropriate and respected decision.  With that being said we are going to open the church for worship May 31st at 10:00 am with the following guidelines.

Guidelines for in-person worship at Southminster beginning May 31st, 10:00 am.

  • Individuals who are at high risk especially those over 65, who have underlying at-risk health conditions are encouraged to stay at home and continue to listen to the recorded service on our website: or request a CD copy.
  • If you are feeling sick or showing symptoms of illness, please stay at home as to not put anyone at risk
  • Everyone is to put on a face covering prior to entering the building, if you do not have a facemask one will be provided to you at the door. Remember masks are not to protect yourself, but to protect the other person.
  • Individuals or family units are to sit at least 6 ft. and two rows from others
  • Bulletins may be picked up on the table in the hallway
  • There will be a collection plate for any offerings on the table in the hallway. You are encouraged to continue giving by Zelle, through your bank or US mail.
  • No-contact greetings (please no hugs or handshakes)
  • For the time being there will be no Sunday School, no children’s story
